I can now show what I’ve been working on. 🫣
I was commissioned to make a bracelet for my Aunt. It was to be in the Arabesque style of the pendant and earrings that she had previously purchased from my website:

The price of buying silver sheet to work with has quadrupled in the last year and shows no sign of slowing.
A small piece of silver of 7cm x 7cm cost £45 a year ago, today it is an incredibly price of £180.

This rapid rise is down to various factors including concerns about global tensions and economic uncertainty.
Industrial & Green Tech Demand:
Silver's superior electrical conductivity makes it essential for solar panels, electric vehicles, 5G, AI data centers, and battery technology, fueling its use.

This is massively worrying for jewellers and silversmiths, when is it going to stop.
We have to increase prices to reflect this rise of course, but at the current rate they are outdated within a week!

I've increased prices on my website but sadly will probably have to do it again soon.

Edit: The price for same piece 7x7cm has increased by £10 since this morning 🙄😠

Cute contemporary hearts and flowers stud earrings are just perfect for everyday wear. They are a beautifully formed shapes of solid sterling silver and are approximately 6mm in size.
These are petite and robust earrings with a substantial 2mm depth to sit proudly on the ear.

Handmade in my studio using traditional silversmithing techniques.
