If anyone fancies some seaglass crafting fun tomorrow afternoon (Sat 30 May) between 14:00-16:00 then I have had some last minute cancellations....and so if you'd lome to cone along and make some Seaglass Snowflakes in May!! then I'd love to sit and create with you!

We are opening up our store on Sat 30 May 11:00-16:00! 😀
We will be running Seaglass Snowflakes in May!! workshops all day (must book in advance- spaces available on the 14:00-16:00 session) and so we thought we would open the doors to the main shop also, for anyone who would like a mooch or a chat about commissions.
Road signs will be out and we look forward to seeing you 🙏

Yesterday we did a thing! After I had delivered a drilling workshop at Seapig in the morning....the Seapig crew then went and spent the afternoon as a family, attending our own private workshops with the wonderful Faye Trevelyan Fused Glass 😀😀
We had such a great time, learnt some new skills, and really can't wait to see what our creations look like when they come out of the kiln (I was going to say oven...but that's incorrect 🤣).
Workshops are fun, hey!? 🤪

Look at this beautiful and very unusual seaglass marble bangle 💙😍
This commission was completed last week but we were keeping pics under wraps until it had been gifted!
We don't find many marbles on our beach scrabble....not in proportion to other glass...but I've had a bit of a run of finding them this year, and this blue flash one was found about a month ago on Anglesey, and now it has made a very special birthday gift!
Some pics of other previous marble bangles and pendants. That side bezelling technique is reasonably tricky....and it certainly illicits a few choice words from Mr Seapig's bench 🤪😬...but it looks amazing....so that's the main thing! 🤣
If any of you beach wanderers have your own seamarbles you would like us to work with, then just get in touch to discuss a commission (the purple swirl and red ones in these pics were actually the clients' own glass...and no I wasn't envious at all that they'd found them and not me!🙃).
I do have about 7 or 8 marbles here that we can also create something with - different designs and sizes, so just get in touch if its something you are interested in 🙏

Super event day yesterday; we're not open much at the moment...but it's great when we are!
Some of the new bangles we launched for the shop yesterday sold in person...but this lovely, deep cornflower blue one is still available.💙💙💙💙💙💙

Really pleased to have been asked to run another workshop for AHNE Ynys Môn AONB at Breakwater Park in Holyhead. This was a mega group of 32, all making wonderful seaglass pictures, with myself and Sue from Tidal Hunter. I hope to be asked to host more of these in the future.

The delightful Paula from Paula cutler Photography dropped off a fantastic collection of discounted framed and unframed prints and cards yesterday ahead of our Drop-In May Half Term Event Day!!. There are a huge number to choose from in a range of sizes...all either old stock or sample prints, up to 50% off. Mostly local coastal and rural scenes...with a few tropical ones thrown in to make us yearn to travel 😀

On Sunday I had planned to do a post letting you all know what was going on at Seapig over the May half term.....but then things took a scary turn for us with Seapiglet's Jessie, and I then spent 40 hours no sleep, and 27 hours at the stables, by her side, on colic watch.
Jessie is recovering well and I have never been so relieved to see her opinionated behaviour shining through again 🙃 But I am still up and down to her several times a day....so just now trying to catch up with a whole lot of life admin!

Our half term offering are:

Sat 23 May - Drop-In May Half Term Event Day!! Open 10-4 with the shop, and there will also be drop-in crafting workshops with Claire Drift-away Handmade to make bracelets, keyrings and bag charms with stunning, handmade, lampwork beads....and felted artwork offerings with Vicki from Celf O’r Galon. I had a wonderful morning teaching these three lovely ladies....on a mission to celebrate a big birthday!
I'm not running many workshops nowadays so this was a real tonic - I do love seeing people get so excited about creating holes in seaglass 😍🤣
