Break In!
We are sad to say that we suffered a major break-in in the early hours of Sunday morning.
We will be closed for the next few days at least and can’t currently allow anyone into the shop because of loose glass inside and out, and a badly damaged door. We are working very hard to get back to normal, or at least open to some extent, as soon as we can.
Although the damage is bad, we’re pleased to say that the losses aren’t too bad, as most of our stock is securely stored overnight.
If you have any jewellery or watches with us, rest assured they are all safe and no customer repairs or valuation items were taken.
If you need to pick anything up from us, please come to the shop and we will be able to help you. We’ll leave instructions on the grille, or you can call us on 01923 779325, 9.30am–5pm, Monday to Saturday as normal.
But please don’t come under the partly open grille, as there is still broken and loose glass around the entrance.
If you would like to order anything online, we can send items out by post or you can pick them up from us.
Thank you so much to all the people from the local community for their concern, kind comments and offers of help.
It’s been a stressful couple of days full of brilliant people.
