❤️🐴 A recent special commission completed 🐴❤️

I recently had the privilege of creating this beautiful keepsake collection using hair from a much-loved horse, including a framed horseshoe Tree of Life and matching horse hair bracelets.

What made this commission even more special was that it was created as a surprise gift, with members of the livery yard coming together to arrange a collection for the recipient. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a wonderful way to celebrate the bond between horse and owner.

Every piece was handcrafted with care to create lasting memories and a unique tribute to a very special horse. The Tree of Life symbolises strength, connection and the incredible bond we share with our horses, making it a meaningful keepsake to treasure for years to come.

Creating pieces like these is always an honour. Thank you to everyone involved for trusting me with such precious memories. 💕

This very special frame was created in memory of Sir Henry — using his own tail hair, carefully entwined by hand into a tree of life, set inside his horseshoe beside a treasured photograph 💜

Some flowers are too special to let fade away… 🤍

These were funeral flowers — once full of love, now fragile and fading.
Each stem was carefully preserved, every petal handled with care, and even the ribbon from the original spray was transformed into handcrafted roses.

Piece by piece, they were rebuilt…
Not just to last — but to honour a life, a memory, a moment that means everything.

Almost a year since my beautiful Apollo gained his wings 🕊️🐴

The day he left, my heart shattered into a million pieces… and truthfully, it’s never been the same since. But I hold onto the thought that he’s out there now, running free over endless green pastures, just as he should be 💚

This piece was created in his memory — hand drawn with love, and finished with a part of him still here… his hair woven into the tail. A way to keep him close, always.
