First year in Birmingham is all done!

When I say it’s flown by I genuinely mean it has flown by, i it has been so, so busy and it has challenged me so much but I have absolutely loved every second (even the really difficult ones 😂)

I’ve come away from first year with new skills, new approaches, mildly knackered, some amazing new people in my life and as always a massive appreciation and respect for the talent and hard-work that goes into the jewellery industry or any creative industry ✨

Tucked away in the shambles in Newent is .keating.artist brand new gallery and gift shop. As you walk in you enter the gift shop full of artists beautiful work (including my jewellery 👀). Then if you go up the stairs there is the exhibition space where monthly exhibitions will be run, Right now there is the ‘North Shores’ exhibition where you will find paintings, jewellery, ceramics, wood work, textiles and prints all crafted by some incredible artists 🌊🐚

It was so lush to see so many lovely people out in the wind and rain to support Charlotte and all the artists - go show so love!! ✨🤍

2025…

I started the year in the mankiest pair of joggers, hoodie and fleece staining, priming, varnishing and painting in the freezing January weather to get my workshop up and running. I’m closing the year on a bit of a high from finishing my first semester in Birmingham Jewellery Quarter ✨ talk about mixing it up a bit 😂
