Thank you to George and Annabelle for letting us share this unforgettable moment. ✨

While travelling through beautiful Florence, Italy, George proposed amongst cascading flowering Wisteria with their daughter Florence — making the moment even more meaningful.

Annabelle’s engagement ring was specially crafted in 18ct Yellow Gold and Platinum, featuring an elegant oval white diamond framed by intense blue diamonds in a timeless trilogy design. A ring created to celebrate love, family, and a story they will never forget.

✨ A love story, a bespoke ring, and a very clever dog.

We are so thrilled to share the engagement of George and Jess — and what a story it is.

George and Jess first crossed paths when he was living in the Cotswolds and she was back home in Nottinghamshire. What began as a simple picnic turned into a long weekend, then weekend after weekend, until Jess made the move to be with him. Together they wandered — from the Cotswolds to Exmoor — before eventually finding their home on the beautiful Isle of Wight last March.

It was only fitting, then, that George chose Compton Beach for the moment that would change everything. One of the very first places they explored together when they arrived on the Island, it already held a piece of their story. So when November came, George returned there with Jess and two of their beloved dogs — including Bella, who had a very important job to do.

George had written his proposal on a retrieve dummy, and when Bella faithfully brought it back to Jess... well, she was rather surprised, to say the least. 💚🐾
To mark this chapter, George commissioned us to create something as unique and beautiful as their journey. The result: a breathtaking 2-carat green emerald-cut diamond, set in a three-stone design flanked by elegant baguette-cut diamonds, crafted in yellow gold and platinum. A ring as rare and full of character as the love it represents.

Congratulations, George & Jess — we are so honoured to have been part of your story. Wishing you a lifetime of adventures together. 🥂

In this video we talk about our ashes jewellery service available at Serendipity. We have many examples set up in our showroom to view in person. All commissions are completed in house by our showroom team meaning personal effects never leave our care.
