✨ Let Me Reintroduce Myself ✨

Hello to all my lovely new followers.

I'm Katy, the designer and maker behind Silver Daisy, based in St Albans, Hertfordshire.

My jewellery-making journey began nearly 20 years ago when I signed up for an evening silversmithing class after finishing my accountancy qualifications. What started as a creative hobby quickly became a passion, and over the years I've continued to develop my skills through silversmithing, Precious Metal Clay and fine jewellery training.

Nature is at the heart of everything I create. I'm inspired by wildflowers, leaves, seed heads and the British coastline. Many of my designs begin with treasures collected on countryside walks or beachcombing trips along the North Norfolk coast with Daisy the Labrador.

Every piece is handcrafted by me using traditional silversmithing techniques, precious metal clay and Keum Boo. Whether it's a dainty daisy pendant, a sea glass necklace or a bespoke commission, my aim is to create jewellery that feels special and can be treasured for years to come.

The last year has been incredibly exciting, with the launch of my website, growing collections, jewellery-making workshops and some wonderful opportunities on the horizon.

As the business continues to evolve, I've made the decision that from January 2027, Silver Daisy will become Katy May.

The heart of the brand isn't changing. I'll still be creating the same nature-inspired jewellery and sharing my love of craftsmanship. The new name simply reflects where the business is heading and gives me room to grow into the next chapter.

There are some exciting plans quietly taking shape behind the scenes, including more jewellery-making workshops in St Albans, a new retail stockist in Hitchin, and some larger events in the run-up to Christmas.

Available in a choice of precious metals and band widths, every ring is crafted especially for you. The ring shown here is a 6mm band in solid sterling silver, with gold options also available.

Dreaming of lazy days beach combing in North Norfolk.🐚☀️🌊

It’s been a while since I visited and with the lovely weather we have has recently I am really missing our little home from home.

I am really excited that I will be back in Holt, Norfolk between 5th and 11th August .

I’ll be displaying a collection of my handmade jewellery in this beautiful little gallery for the week. Including my Coastal Collection combining sea shells, sea glass, pearls and silver.

Today is mine and my husband’s wedding anniversary ✨

Eighteen years ago we were celebrating our wedding day in Italy, surrounded by sunshine, beautiful food, family, friends, and all the little moments that stay with you forever. Looking back, it still feels incredibly special.

At the time, unique artisan wedding rings weren’t as easy to find as they are now, and I know we would have loved something more personal and organic to reflect us and our story.

These new wedding bands from Silver Daisy are exactly that — individually hand carved from wax before being cast into your chosen precious metal, making every ring completely unique. The natural texture has an organic, almost tree bark-like feel that catches the light beautifully and feels timeless rather than traditional.

Each ring is handmade in the UK and can be customised to your preferred width and metal choice. Pictured here are a 14ct yellow gold ladies band and a sterling silver men’s band.

Introducing the Keum Boo Heart Leaf Print Collection ✨🍃
