Jen, an accomplished musical director, joined us in 2023 has shown a great keenness for detail, whilst conveying her deep love of music to us all. Long May you continue with The Meadway Singers as our MD .

We are looking forward to joining Stockport Male Voice Choir and Sale Male Voice choir on Saturday 11th May at 3pm in the beautiful church of St Paul in Withington, Manchester.

It’s Sure to be a very pleasant afternoon of many delightful Melodies and we would love you to join us.

Following the pandemic we wondered how many of our ladies would be returning to sing with us .
Thankfully in September 2021 we returned, with a full compliment of ladies ( and ‘our pianist, Simon’ ) all eager to meet up with each other to sing and laugh once again.
Now, in June this year we are delighted to be celebrating 30 years of The Meadway Singers.

Very sadly our lovely accompanist Simon will have leave us after 8 years of sheer joy and professionalism.

So now, we are looking for someone to replace him . !!

We rehearse every Thursday Evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm
At The Avenue church in Sale.

Our planter in Ashton village. I placed four poppies on there today for remembrance. Also, photos of the Silver Gilt award given to Ashton village for Britain in Bloom competition this year and presented in Southport this week to the staff of Herbert Murray's . Many thanks to our ladies Leila and Jennifer for making our planter look so attractive.
