First craft fair of the year at my local favourite, Wilton Community Centre. Trying out a few new hobbies, crochet and candle making on top of my usual jewellery and resin.
Sold the octopus already, so I'm happy (easily pleased).
Hope you all have a great day! X

Last Christmas (no not the Wham song), my little ebay business took a massive hit from all the Royal Mail strikes, to the extent I closed down for 2 weeks in despair. People weren't buying, items I sent weren't being delivered in time, buyers wanted their money back (understandably) left, right and centre.
So Royal Mail have struck again. Not only is post still very hit, miss and nonexistent in some postal areas, they've added a whopping 40p to the price of the postage service I use, which now costs me £1.55. The majority of my items I sell for £2.50 ish to which ebays cut is at least 75p. Factor in cost of parts used, envelopes etc (which have all risen), I am now running at a loss on 80% of my sales. I hate passing on increases to my little group of followers (220 now) so I reluctantly increased my prices by 25 to 30p an item and sucking up the rest myself. Thanks to this, sales have really dropped and I may be forced to give up on my little dream of making people smile with my affordable gifts.
If you have read this far, moral is Royal Mail become fatter cats whilst the skinny (not any more in my case, thanks menopause 🤣) slowly fade away..... x

Been making a few resin bits this week, as well as trying to get my new display cupboard painted (excuse the mess in pics, although fellow crafters will appreciate it goes with the territory)
Looking forward to the craft fair at Wilton Community Centre tomorrow. Always a nice friendly selling experience!

Step 1 done, making my profile page! I'm trying to get my website completely stocked and items posted here. Unfortunately, this does all take considerable time, especially as I have a day job and am also successfully selling my everyday jewellery on Ebay, which takes a lot of my spare time.
However, I will endeavour to get things up and running as quickly as I can!

Welcome to my page, where I will be showcasing some of my unique makes. I may not be to everyone's style, but I enjoy what I do and feel truly blessed when my items sell.
