I spent a few quiet hours in the Vaults today... A few browsers but not many actual shoppers.
It's not just my shop but this place is a treasure trove of local art, crafts, vintage and antique items and people who know how to make and repair things for you.
A few years ago a trader made this sign and it feels ever more true. The immediate effect is that traders need to find work outside the market so are there less. Make it worth our while and have a browse, you might just find that unique thing you've been searching for.

On Saturday the one and only Pudsey Bear will be sailing into Scarborough and coming along to Scarborough Market Hall as part of his Big Bear Voyage. Come along to Scarborough Market Hall from 11am to meet Pudsey and help him with his round the UK fundraising mission.
