The Moth girls joined forces in 2012 and have built their company up from a starting point of a great idea in a sunny beer garden. We have a shared inspiration of all things vintage and a passion for buttons, black and white photographs, faded china, bugs, old maps and red lipstick! We think of ourselves as a bit of an Aladdin's den there is no set structure to our stock other than if we think it is beautiful and are passionate about it we will use it. When creating we recycle wherever we can be it fabric, trinkets & treasure or paper based. We love working with something that has a history and reworking things to give it a new story makes it that bit more magical. The bricks and mortar shop is Situated in Birds Yard, Sheffield on Chapel Walk. The Mothettes are always moving forward and searching for a new creative vision. Tuesdays nights are often "Beer and Burger" business meeting nights where new ideas and projects are born.
