This lovely pocket watch and fob are part of ‘him indoors’ personal collection…you know how we ladies love our jewels, can’t resist them and love adding to our jewellery boxes, well, surprise surprise men are the same!
He LOVES watches, pocket watches, clocks big or small. This one is a ladies half-hunter pocket watch made by the renowned Irish watchmakers silversmiths and jewellers Sharman D Neill of Belfast Northern Ireland. The company was originally founded in 1802/1803 and passed down to Sharman D Neill in 1884. It has a Swiss movement an 18Ct gold case and a stunning fob chain!
If you have an interest in Irish watchmakers and their history this family’s is very veryinteresting!

Scene 1: 1912. Formal dining table set for dinner. Napkin Rings. Set of Four. Sterling Silver. Initial ‘L’. ..light music, potpourri in bowls, fresh flowers.

Scene 2: Present day. Four diners sat at a gorgeous formally set dining table. Porcelain and Lace. Dimmed light lit with flickering candelabra. Soft Cello.
The first diner lifts the napkin ring - No.1

Whispers from the post-Edwardian era linger in their silver surfaces. Whose monogrammed table did they grace over a century ago? What whispered secrets, stolen glances, and candlelit conversations have these rings silently witnessed?

From formal dinners to intimate family gatherings, they carry the quiet romance and hidden stories of a bygone time, stories that now wait to be continued in their new home.
A lovely set, ready to bring a touch of timeless mystery and old-world elegance to your table…

Two lovely pendants that are seriously polar opposites! Would you go for the sleek and sophisticated or for the whimsical funny one that will raise questions. Either way you’re going to get comments on both! 😂

Spring has sprung and I’ve been busy dusting off the cobwebs of winter. Spring cleaned the house and added a lick of paint where it’s been needed. ‘Him indoors’ has been outdoors preparing the garden for summer so alls good in our ‘hood. Now it’s back to focusing on the things I love.
These two items are stunning! As I was up and down ladders with the paintbrush all I could think of was sharing these with you.

With the value of silver rising so rapidly there are many people wanting to sell what they have, maybe because they don’t use it any more or it’s just sat in a cupboard all tarnished and dull, but before you think about taking it along to be scrapped take a moment to really look at what it is you want to send to the melting pot.
Check the hallmarks, check the date and ponder on who it first belonged to, where it’s from, who made it and what world events have taken place since its manufacture. It’s fascinating!
