The birthstone for January is garnet. Garnet is a deep red stone linked to the root chakra, grounding spiritual energy and revitalising the body, helping to manifest goals and overcome emotional trauma. Garnet is also believed to be a protective talisman against negativity, enhance self confidence and promote emotional balance, love and creativity, while physically supporting circulation and detoxification.
