💕 What memory always makes you smile when you think of your loved ones? 💕

When I think of my Nan, I always hear her distinct voice and picture her telling a story from long ago about her family and laughing out loud.

She would always say 'weeeee' when you told her something shocking. It's a very 'Portsmouth' thing to do...

The memory that always comes to mind when I think of my grandad is the way he would, in his booming voice, embarrasingly ask "Are you courting yet?" when I was a teenager... It took me a while to find out what 'courting' was! 😂

Both of those memories make me smile. They are small snippets of their personalities, only small, but precious.

I'm reminded of both of my grandparents whenever I drive over 'The Hill' (if you're from Portsmouth you'll know it), they spent a lot of time here when they were 'courting' and it is where their ashes were finally placed - together forever in their favourite place to be.

Kirstyn chose a simple, but beautiful design to remember sweet Tucker by.

Our Eleos round ring with Angel shimmer and highly visible fur. Both light and dark hair is included, but you'll see that the lighter pieces have become transparent within the setting. This often happens with lack of pigment, you can only see it if you look very closely!

'Tucker was a dog who knew when you were upset, he would also make sure to be there and give you extra cuddles, kisses.

He would brighten our days, fill silence with barking. He would always show his little brother some love too. He was, however, the best food thief ever.

When he left everything was so quiet and the house has never been the same, nothing to fill those silent moments now.

We will always remember him as our little silver old man.'

My ring fits perfectly.

My dad passed from Dementia in Parkinson’s so having the forget me not colour is so fitting, it's so beautiful, my dad was my hero, my everything and I miss him dearly, now I can have him close 🥹

Kodi and Harvey's ashes necklace, also beautiful, I lost all three precious souls in the space of a year my heart broken forever but having these pieces will bring me so much comfort knowing they are near.

Muffin came to us in 2008 and lived a very happy life as a non racing greyhound until she was 15 years old. She was a blood donor until she was 8 and then at 9 was diagnosed with a soft tissue sarcoma lump on her collar bone. This was successfully removed and never came back.

In 2015 Ringo came to us as a friend for Muffin and after a few weeks together they became inseparable. When muffin died on New Year’s Eve 2021 Ringo really missed her.

We then took on Misty as a friend for grieving Ringo in March 2022 so he was much happier. Ringo was also a blood donor and did 25 donations in his life and saved the lives of over 100 dogs.

We sadly lost him in January of this year at the age of 13.5.

💕Two Photos Seventeen Years Apart💕

The first one is the day we got Tilly home from the RSPCA and she was 1 year old, the second is one of her on her 17th birthday.

Tilly crossed the rainbow bridge just 2 weeks before her 18th birthday. We had so much fun, love and laughter together and she will always be in my heart. I miss her terribly.

I came across Healing Hearts whilst looking for memorial jewellery, I liked the choices of colour for the ashes to lay in and the choice of how visible they could be.

Lucy has made the most beautiful ring and it's as I imagined. I will wear my ring every day. It truly represents my dog, beautiful, sparkly and full of love.
