Day 3 of the May challenge. And it’s trees!

Never really drawn trees before but I’ve been working through The Drawing Habit (last slide) by and saw there was a section on trees so it seemed daft not to give it a go. I am so so pleased with how this came out. Yes, I can see where I’ve made mistakes, but it’s a learning process!

Decided to get back on the MAE challenge with after 5 years away.

Trying to make drawing a daily habit so hopefully this will help! Non-digital this time. May’s theme is growth - which is fitting.

I even attempted colour - which is something I normally avoid unless I’m working digitally.

Working on my ongoing double knitting scarf. On the way back from a lovely week in Devon.

It’s been a very creative week! Spending any time with my parents (especially my mum) inspires me creatively, but this week has also included meeting up with friends that I met in an online crafting space and a hugely inspirational trip to Appledore.

Sad to be leaving, but looking forward to getting home!

So nearly finished!! I’ve got one more cuff to knit and I need to reinforce the centres of the squares as the yarn is so slippy but I’m so pleased with how this has come out.

And yes you did read that correctly - the cuffs, neckline and bottom ribbing are knitted! Not bad for my first attempt!
