A string of exquisite vintage cream graduated Akoya sea pearls in purple box with silk lining. Pearls in excellent condition. Pearls graduate from 3-7mm. Newly cleaned and restrung; fully knotted on fine white silk. Original silver diamanté slider clasp, set with purple stone. All stones secure in place; fitted with silver safety chain. 45 centimetres (17.75 inches). Sold in box.

Nothing more helpful than my cat, Lucky! Just what you need when stringing pearls... Lucky is nearly 20 now and came to us 18 years ago when we first moved to France. She was abandoned - thrown out of a car near our forest home and she simply moved in. She has been the most friendly and loving of all the 18 cats over my lifetime of adopting strays and although she only meows in French, is old, arthritic and totally deaf, she is still my 'bestie'!!

Vintage Flame on Green Spatter Glass Beads with Red Coral (Circa: 1940s)
Stock number: VN617. This 52cm long string of flame-coloured flashes on green graduated spatter glass beads with red sustainable striated corals and orange glass spacers is recently re-strung on Aculon nylon coated steel jewellery wire. The beads measure 7-17mm and the coral 10mm. It has the original brass ring bolt clasp.

For anyone local to me in Kippen, I will be having a stand at the Kippen Village Market next Sunday May 31st, opens 11am at Kippen Village Hall (Fore Road, FK8 3DT). My stand will be pearls, vintage jewellery and silk! Free entry to the market - come along and say hello and do some shopping for local crafts and produce!

Oval Pink Freshwater Rice Pearls with Round Green Jade beads. Necklace & Bracelet Set. Stock number: PP1069
This 55cm string of oval pink, freshwater rice pearls with round pale green jade beads and gold galvanised glass Miyuki spacers is sold with matching bracelet (20cms, with 3cm extension) and drop earrings on gold-plated hook backs for pierced ears. The pearls measure approximately 7mm long and the jade beads are 4mm. It is all fully knotted on silk. Goldtone lobster necklace clasp and silver gilt lobster bracelet clasp with 3cm extension chain and pendant shell pearl.
