Update: the procedure was more painful than I thought. We'll be closed for the rest of the day. Back tomorrow at 9am.

We'll be closed for approx 1 hour today whilst I visit the district nurse. Leaving at 1.45pm, hopefully back before 3pm.

Hi, we'll be closed until Thursday this week because of my accident. Mike's already in the workshop today catching up on some repairs behind the shutters, but we have hospital appointments this afternoon and tomorrow.

We'll be closed all day tomorrow (Saturday) I fell over my baggy trousers in Marple this evening and I'm currently in Stepping Hill waiting for a bed. Off to theatre in the morning to have my knee joint cleaned properly, checked up and all sewn back together. 😔

Today we are wishing David Attenborough a very happy 100th birthday, his programmes of the natural world have educated & inspired many and brought about huge changes in both conservation & camera technology.

These incredibley shaped, diamonds from Dayagi Diamonds are just some of the natural world shapes they do.
We can't get these and we certainly wouldn't be able to make settings for them, so please don't ask. But I think they are incredible to look at, and their entire range is beautiful.
My favourite is the Bull, it reminds me of my grandma, she was a Ta**us and had many bull ornaments, a bull shaped diamond would have really made her smile.
*caution, if you go for a peek at Dayagi's website, and I really hope you do. Please be aware that a couple of the shapes are a 'bit saucy' 😉

Tennis bracelets are named after an incident in 1978 (ish) involving the professional tennis player Chris Evert.
During the US Open, whilst playing a match, her diamond line bracelet fell off.
She called for a break to retrieve it and because of the media coverage showing her searching the court, diamond line bracelets were given the nickname Tennis Bracelets.
