I’m a one-woman business owner with far too many ideas and not enough hours in the day! 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m looking for creative, curious and proactive marketing, social media, PR and business students who fancy getting involved in some real projects.

And finally… an explosion of flowers! 🌸🌼🌺

After all the cutting, texturing, shaping, soldering and polishing, it’s time to bring everything together!

First up, drilling holes in the log slice. Then twisting the wire stems to build up tension so the flowers stay securely in place.

And then comes my favourite bit… arranging the flowers, playing with different heights and angles until we’ve got a gorgeous explosion of metal blooms! 💐✨

From flat sheets of metal and a slice of wood to a colourful (well, metallic!) bunch of flowers that will never wilt!

I absolutely love how these are coming together. And the best bit? No watering required! 😂

A little polishing magic! ✨🌸

After all the cutting, shaping, texturing, annealing and soldering, we’re finally at the polishing stage!

There’s something incredibly satisfying about watching the metal transform from dull and grubby to lovely and shiny. 😍

These flowers have certainly been a labour of love, but seeing them come together makes all the fiddly bits worthwhile!

Next stop… getting them onto their log slices! 🌸🔨

From flat pieces of metal to something that’s starting to look a lot more like a flower 🌸🔥

Today’s job — soldering a little domed centre into place.

This is one of those stages where everything suddenly starts coming together. A bit of heat, a tiny piece of solder and a lot of concentration… because the solder absolutely WILL go everywhere except where you want it if you stop paying attention 😂

Next step: turning this into a finished flower 🌼
