Yesterday we celebrated the 1st anniversary of the Wigtown Cancer Drop-In with a lovely afternoon tea supplied by North Street Deli - Wigtown . It was wonderful to see some new faces alongside familiar ones, and to spend time together reflecting on what a supportive and welcoming group this has become.

We really love being part of this group and seeing the friendships, support and kindness that have grown over the last year.

A huge thank you again to Wigtown Community Shop and Newton Stewart & District Round Table for supporting the Drop-In and helping us continue to provide this space for people affected by cancer.

Please remember that everyone is welcome to come along and be part of the group - whether you are living with cancer, supporting someone, bereaved, or simply looking for understanding and connection. 💜

A huge thank you to the incredible RockinthePort team for their generosity and support 💙

We were delighted to receive a fantastic cheque for £1337.50, presented by Bill Logan and Alan Gray. This amazing total was raised at a brilliant fundraiser concert held at Portpatrick Village Hall.

A special mention to Alan and all the RockinthePort volunteers who worked so hard to organise such a memorable evening. The event featured a fantastic line-up including Rod Stewart impersonator James Frew, Lianne, Kevin from Wild Thyme, and the brilliant South west signers 👏
