Alison’s distinctive jewellery reflects her curiosity and passion for everything around her, with the natural world a particular inspiration. From the stunning hidden environments beneath the surface of Orkney’s seas, to the magical spectacle of the Northern Lights, Alison loves it all. Working mostly

with silver and a palette of beautiful gemstones, she creates thoughtful keepsakes designed to be worn, enjoyed and treasured for a lifetime. Alison’s jewellery is crafted in her Stromness studio, in Orkney’s west mainland. If you don't catch her in her workshop, you’ll find her work on sale throughout the islands and further afield.

It's hard to believe, but AMD is 15 this year! I found a picture of my very first website. I remember having to teach myself how to build a website and photograph my work! It's good to see that the Organic and Pebble collections have stood the test of time and many of the designs are still in production today! However, I do miss the Organic stacking rings. Maybe one day they may make a come back?
