At the Bristol Beacon tonight for the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra featuring organ megastar Anna Lapwood 🥳
First half is over and she's done an impromptu piece from Interstellar 🌟
But what we're all here for is the Saint Saens Organ Symphony (yes the one from Babe).
It's an emotional one for me as my dad brought me here to see it when I was about 10(?). He knew what was coming and was waiting for me jump out of my skin at "that bit".
Chances of me bawling the whole way through... 110%

Closed Friday 12th!
I'll be taking the day off tomorrow and heading to Birmingham.
Firstly to check out the School of Jewellery graduation show.
Then I'll be heading to the Birmingham Design Festival for a talk by Rocky himself (and owner of the greatest head of hair in the known universe IYKYK) puppeteer James Ortiz.

It's been a week of wedding rings.
One set back from hallmarking at , the other ready to go off.
Both sets made by the respective couple, at a "make your own wedding ring" workshop in the shop.

Happy bank holiday everyone.
I can finally announce that I'll be having a mini exhibition (a cabinet in the cafe) at the Bristol Folk House this month.
This is an ongoing project of jewellery set with local stones. Many of which I cut myself.
Ranging from Cirencester beetroot stone in the North, to Marston (Magna) Marble in the south, as well as pebbles collected from Clevedon-Portishead beaches.

Spent some of today making earring samples for Sunday's "Trio of Earrings" workshop (spaces still available).
Last time I did the workshop was November and I made the samples out of silver... then I put them in the shop window and being christmas, they all sold 😆
This time I've made them from copper, so they can stay as teaching samples.
