A ring which feels like it was pulled straight out of a fantasy story ✨
This stunning ring was a custom piece I made recently using a customer’s own sea glass. There are so many special elements to this ring, first of all being the rare multicoloured sea glass. The shades of teal are so vibrant and complement the use of both gold and silver toned metals.
The challenge with this project was the request to use mixed metals, and after a few sketches, we decided on this whimsical wire wrapped design. 🌊
You may have seen the lovely mixed metal Ripple necklace in my last post. Well, this ring was to go alongside it, so the winding gold filled wire design felt only fitting. 💫
This was my first attempt at creating a mixed metal piece which required soldering and I am so obsessed with the final outcome. Massive thanks to the new owner of this ring for allowing me to experiment with such a fantastic custom collection. 🤍
