Not every idea makes it to the wrist.

As much as we’d love to release every dial colour and case finish we experiment with, production has its limits. Maybe one day we’ll aim for at least one new colour a year.

Over time we’ve explored everything from composite cases to dial colours that never quite found their moment — including this yellow test piece we still call the Gorse. All those walks along the Gower cliffs stay with you.

And behind every prototype is a bit of creative chaos.

He once used a golden baby head to get the perfect reflection on a dial. Should we ask where he found it.

The road less travelled. Part of bringing a watch to market is all the variants we didn't make. The middle case would have been called the Composite - or maybe Stratum. Polished bezel, sandblasted case. It almost made the cut.
