Joe and Emily ♥️💍
I’ve known EMILY WILLIAMS for a good 10 years now, and she’s always said: ‘When I get engaged I want you to make my ring.’ No pressure 🙃
I brushed it off as a sweet comment and didn’t think I would actually get the honour….. Until Joe Holland | Functional Health and Fitness Coach waltzed in.
He remembered what Emily said - or maybe she nagged him for so long there was no forgetting 👀😂 Regardless, we were in contact about this ring for months before it came to life. Secret meetings about sea glass, size of diamonds, what metal was going to be used. And a lot of checking from my side - I was pretty nervous about making this one! Joe was so chilled and I was 100% the problem.
Anyway, more importantly, the final piece is made up of sea glass from glass they’d collected on walks together (too cute), two 4mm diamonds set into sterling silver and all held together with a 9ct yellow gold band.
Probably my biggest challenge to date but what an honour to have been given the task.
Although I may have cried more tears than with any other piece of jewellery ever, it was so worth it.
A huge shout out to Cait Caerynys Shed Jewellery for getting me over the line. I think Joe would still be waiting for the ring now otherwise!
