We would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who shared our recent post.

The lady has now been identified, has been back into the shop, and the situation has been fully resolved.

Whilst this started as an error on our part, we are grateful that, with the help of social media, the situation was brought to a swift conclusion and resolved properly. Without the reach and support of the community, we may not have been able to sort this as quickly as we did or at all.

We would like to address some of the negative comments made towards the shop. Mistakes can happen, and whilst we take full responsibility for our part, this situation was not as straightforward as some have suggested. We are simply pleased that everything has now been returned and resolved.

This is a perfect example of how social media can be incredibly helpful, but also, at times, unnecessarily harsh.

Thank you again to everyone who shared and supported us in a positive way, it really did make a difference.

The Jeweller’s Workbench will be closed on Wednesday, as we will be attending the funeral of Paul Sproat, a much-loved and well-known member of the Cleveleys community.

Paul was known to many and will be very sadly missed.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.

We will be open as normal on Thursday.

We will be closing at 4:00pm on Christmas Eve
and will re-open on Monday 5th January.
