You are very welcome to visit me at my workshop for a cup of coffee if you are looking for a gift or just passing from our area, doing the NC500 maybe, please phone in advance to let us know you are coming to avoid disappointment. We are a new family of self- employed parents so as you can understand, we are here most of the time, but we don't have a set working hours so we can facilitate toddlers groups and emergencies. I would love to meet you and hear about your journey or day over a cup of tea and homemade biscuits and offer you some gift ideas unique to our area. So if you feel like popping in and take your chances if we are here please do so as well. Looking forward to meeting you! I love to take commissions for someone that is looking for something special. Please contact me if you would like some advice on something you are thinking to make for a unique occasion(advice is for free :)

Also I try my best to do repairs but it is not always easy again contact me for advice.

I love to bring the seasons into the house. And sometimes some free travelers have to be let out again 🐌

We had such a lovely time this weekend. A mother and two daughters work alongside but individually on their own projects. We covered designing, cutting, filling, finishing, enamelling in copper and silver. Some great ideas in the duration of the two days. The girls were lucky with the weather and got to visit Farr beach and Skerray harbour during the afternoon breaks!

P.s. after 15 years living in this croft, I finally have snow drops πŸ˜ƒ

So when I was growing up I heard about Spring cleaning! Now I don't remember such a great mess. Does anyone else do this? Please do tell πŸ˜‚ when you feel a little glimpse of a restful feeling going through your mind/body do you immediately think, everything is in the wrong place, I better get it all sorted. 3 days later, the house, the workshop and all the sheds look a bit like these pictures 😱 what have I done! Again! I am at the other end though at the moment and I will show you what it looks like when finished. I am now (day 4) feeling very excited 😊 out with the old in with the new πŸ’•πŸŒ± what is life without a wee glimpse of chaos every now and then. I think we call it cleansing now 🧑

A lot happens all the time and time is passing without noticing this dark part of the year but before we know it, it will be Spring again! I held the first workshop of 2026 the other day and what a ray of sunshine it was! A lot of new ideas are going through my mind just now. It will be time to flower again soon. Be gentle to yourself and remember to smile every now and then, just for your own benefit 🫧🌈
