It’s been a minute!! We have been busy expanding the range in our shop as metal pieces are pretty crazy right now 🫠 that doesn’t mean we will stop working in Silver though and we are still making some beautiful commissions such as this bespoke Ammonite cuff bracelet.

A lovely adaptation of our original version that features our small Ammonites, this one features our sandcast medium Ammonite with forged wire to reduce the weight and keep costs down whilst retaining a statement look 💕

🤯🔥 WHAT. THE. ACTUAL. 🤬 IS GOING ON WITH SILVER?! 🔥🤯

I’ve just checked today’s silver prices and…
Nope.
Absolutely not.
Someone needs to reboot the universe because THIS cannot be real. 😭💀

Silver has jumped by around 103% OVERNIGHT.
Yes. Overnight.

As in… went to bed, woke up, and the price basically did a backflip into a different tax bracket. 🤦‍♀️📈

And if that wasn’t enough chaos…
It’s actually up well over 200% since this whole ridiculous spike began months ago.

Jewellers everywhere right now:
😳😱😵‍💫🤬🫠☕ (crying into their soldering torches)
To put it simply — silver is being fought over by:
⚡ electric cars
🌞 solar panels
📱 electronics
💻 tech, chips & AI
And apparently the rest of the world who suddenly want ALL of it at once.

So the price is literally yeeting itself into the sky like it has somewhere better to be. 🚀💎

We’ve absorbed these rises for as long as physically possible (like absolute troopers trying to hold back a tidal wave 🌊😂), but with a spike THIS wild and THIS sudden… we’ve had to update a lot of our prices including bespoke.
And we are so, so, SO sorry 💛
We hate doing this.

We’re still doing everything we can behind the scenes to keep things as low as possible, but this market is behaving like it’s had 14 Red Bulls and a meltdown. 😭🔥

This Oak leaf signet ring was made in one of our recent experience days - isn’t it amazing?!

The ring and leaf was first carved in wax and then sand cast. Sand casting, a process used to create metal products, involves forming a mold from sand, pouring molten metal into it, and then breaking away the sand to reveal the finished object. This ancient method, dating back to ancient civilizations, offers a versatile way to produce a wide range of metal parts, from simple to complex, and in various sizes.
