Massive respect to our NITE Maverick Gareth De La Torre on completing the London Marathon 2026 in true Commando style.

Gareth took on 26.2 miles carrying a 44lb 26oz bergen, running in Altberg tabbing boots and combat trousers, and of course wearing his NITE Hawk Polar throughout.

This was Gareth’s third London Marathon, with a target time of 5:45… and an official finish of 5:44:47.
Over 10 minutes faster than last year, thanks to disciplined pacing and a full sprint finish up The Mall.

Even better, Gareth raised over £2,000 for the Royal Marines Association.

And as expected… he’s not stopping there. Training now begins for the Commando Shuffle this September, 30 miles across Dartmoor, in kit, carrying 35lb+.
