My current beard? Respectable. Honourable.
But this… this is next level heroism.

Soon, I will shave.
Yes… sacrifices must be made for greatness.
And then I will glue this glorious creation to my face and become…

The Shield Is Ready COMRADES! The work is complete! 💥

After careful preparation worthy of the greatest Soviet engineering minds, the new Red Guardian shield has been forged!

First came the masking — precise lines, careful planning, patience of a super soldier.
Then the painting — glorious layers of Red, Silver, and Black, applied with strength, pride, and only minimal paint on the beard.

But shield of hero cannot look too new.
A warrior’s shield must tell story!
So I added weathering — battle marks, wear, the scars of imaginary victories over enemies who definitely existed.

Now it stands ready… hardened… heroic… and perhaps slightly heavier than expected.

All in preparation for a most important mission…

Soon the UK’s Red Guardian will arrive at Liverpool Comic Con, hosted by Monopoly Events, where I will meet the man brave enough to portray my glorious life… David Harbour.

The shield — symbol of strength, honour, and occasionally very loud entrance — is being upgraded.
Masked. Measured. Engineered with precision worthy of Soviet science!

I am preparing the new Red Guardian shield colours, inspired by glorious future heroism… and I wait only for one thing — a dry day in Britain.
This is perhaps my greatest challenge yet. ☔😐

Why such effort, you ask?
Because soon… the UK’s Red Guardian will meet the man who portrayed my legendary life — David Harbour himself!

At Monopoly Events Liverpool Comic Con, on the 3rd of April, history will be made.
Two beards. Two shields. One glorious meeting of destiny in Liverpool. 😎

The real deal meets the realer deal.

I have learned that David Harbour — the man brave enough to portray ME — will be attending Liverpool Comic Con, hosted by the glorious people at ! 🎉

Imagine it…
The Red Guardian… standing face to face with the man who brought my heroic exploits to the screen.
Two beards. Two legends. One photo that history will struggle to explain. 😎

Will he recognise me?
Will he say, ‘Ah yes… I trained like this once’?
Will he be confused and slightly alarmed?

Only one way to find out, comrades.
