Beautiful glass from Murano, Italy and around the world worked in the flame usng traditional lamp work.

Handmade glass lamp worked beads, hand-worked silver, jewellery, and lovely things. I use beautiful glass from Murano, Italy and around the world. All my glass beads are hand made in the flame using traditional lamp working techniques and annealed in my digitally controlled kiln. Unique and individual designs. Commissions of bespoke pieces undertaken. Memory and keepsakes made with ashes or or hair.

'Destiny Pier' is an anagram of 'Serendipity' - the discovery of beautiful and wonderful things that you did not even know you needed quite by accident. ♡

While my kiln heats up…Some of the things on my bench today, a small section of my lamp work beads and the last picture is some very old vintage murano beads that require a re-pattern, re-string and some extra little beads added in to lengthen the piece for a customer, also some new findings for the earrings.

I am now working back in the cabin at Destiny Pier a couple of days a week. I will be listing stock pieces and as always will take orders for bespoke pieces. I also made memory keepsakes with inclusions such as cremation ashes.
It is nice to be back creating after an extended break. Life threw us some curveballs and I lost my creative flow for a while. I hope life has been kind to you all and look forward to sharing lots of new beads and lovely things.
