Curious about designing jewellery on a computer, but never tried it? This is the perfect place to start.

You'll learn Rhino 3D — one of the most widely used CAD programs in the jewellery trade — and use it to design a letter pendant and a single stone ring, both taken through to models ready for casting and setting in the workshop. Alongside the design work, you'll learn how to prepare a model properly for casting, including getting the tolerances right, so what you make on screen translates cleanly into metal.

Suitable for beginners with some hands-on jewellery experience

No software to buy, and no CAD experience needed — just bring a laptop, a mouse, and your curiosity. By the end of the day you'll have two professional-standard models of your own, plus a real sense of whether CAD design is something you want to take further.

No experience necessary. Students need to bring their own laptop computer - a free trial of Rhino will be downloaded during the course.

Spinner rings are a fun, tactile piece of jewellery - why not come and make one for yourself at this exciting one-day workshop suitable for beginners, held at our stunning countryside studio in Colemore, Hampshire.

We will teach you how to use silver sheet to create the base ring, adding up to two spinning bands. There is a choice of textures for both the base and the spinning bands, giving you a beautifully unique piece of jewellery.

Get ahead on Christmas — make your own handmade silver gifts this year! Join Olivia for our fabulous Christmas Gifts Workshop on Saturday 28th November, 10am-4pm. Suitable for beginners.

You can make some beautiful jewellery for your loved ones, whilst enjoying some festive treats at our warm and welcoming countryside studio in Colemore, Hampshire.

This workshop will give you the chance to work with sheet silver, creating different textures and using punches to create unique pendants, charms, earrings or cufflinks for your lucky recipients.

You can expect to come away with 2-5 completed pieces depending on their complexity, giving you the opportunity to cross several gifts off your list, and even make something for yourself too!

Silver is purchased on the day. Depending on weight, we would expect each student to spend between £15 and £30 on silver for all their projects put together.

Fantastic jewellery Taster Day yesterday! Such a lovely group and a joy to teach.

We had four beginners who were making a bangle or rings, Fran on her 5th Taster Day making some gorgeous hammered square dangly earrings, Lisa and Vicky from our weekly classes taking the opportunity to make for a full, dedicated day of creativity.
