Somewhere along the way, I stopped needing life to look perfect and started appreciating it for what it is. ✨

A little older, a little wiser, occasionally still making questionable decisions 😂… but far more comfortable in my own skin.

I’ve learned that peace is priceless, boundaries are necessary, and not everyone needs access to you. Some chapters are meant to end, some people are meant to become memories, and some versions of yourself deserve to be left behind too.

So here’s to becoming, evolving, laughing through the chaos and still finding reasons to smile. 🖤

Monday, guys! 🖤

I’m finally feeling a little better, which apparently means I’m straight back to being a criminologist, social media creator, mother, nan, horse owner… and everything else I somehow manage to squeeze in between! 😂

No gentle easing myself back into life apparently — straight back to wearing 47 different hats and pretending I know exactly what I’m doing. 🤣

Have a fabulous start to your week, whatever you’ve got planned. I’m going to try and get some nice videos done this week too, so hopefully you’ll be seeing a bit more of me again!

Not every selfie needs to be perfect. Not every day requires styled hair, a full face of makeup and strategic lighting that deserves its own production crew. 😂

There’s something quite liberating about reaching a point where you realise your value isn’t determined by how aesthetically pleasing you happen to be that day.

Some days I’ll make the effort, do my hair, put my makeup on and feel bloody fabulous. Other days I’ll walk my ugly little self straight out of the door looking like I’ve been dragged backwards through a hedge… and I LOVE IT. 🤣

Because confidence isn’t always about looking your best. Sometimes it’s being completely comfortable when you very clearly **don’t**. 😂

We’re constantly surrounded by filtered, edited and carefully curated versions of people, and it’s easy to forget that real human beings have pores, wrinkles, messy hair, tired eyes and days where getting dressed is about as much glamour as we can muster.

So don’t be frightened of simply being **you**.

Makeup is lovely. Filters are fun. Dressing up feels great. But being comfortable enough in your own skin to exist without any of it?

That’s a different kind of beautiful. 🖤

Now excuse me while I confidently take my feral little face out into society. 😂✌🏼

Hey guys! It’s been a long 6 days of recovery and I’m not quite 100% just yet BUT I’m going in the right direction! I didn’t quite anticipate how much pain I’d be in and I actually thought I’d got away lightly on day 2, but apparently there was still lots of meds in me at that point!
The swelling has been insane on my face and ulcers on tongue!! Oh my goodness, I’ve never felt anything like it! Little by little I’m getting there.
If things go how I want tomorrow, I will be getting some content up for you.
I really need some normality back in my life! 😝

I just wanted to say an enormous thank you to everyone who sent me well wishes! I’m doing great, a bit sore and swollen but I’m so so relieved more than anything. I battled years of infections and pain beyond words because of my fear of the dentist.
Yesterday I faced it full on. Yes I was still needing sedating but my surgeon Mr Bishay was absolutely spot on. I was lucky enough to have the boss man due to the complexities of my surgery and I remember nothing except discussing what w**e we were to have (as the sedation took hold of me!) 😂
Time for me to gain new confidence and start living again.
