This is a page to show the art and craft items I have for sale - textile jewellery, cards, watercolour paintings, textile pictures, woven scarves, etc.; to record new items I make, and to give information on craft fairs and places you can buy them Textile jewellery, woven items, dyeing, watercolours - and bridal accessories - a combination of my art and craft interests

I sell online via my E*sy shop SarahCageTextiles, at local craft fairs and at occasional Open Studios. I’m also prepared to sell from my website, www.sarahcage.co.uk, which has most of the art and craft items I’ve done over the last 30 years, whether or not they are for sale.

Finally updated my website www.sarahcage.co.uk with the things I did over the summer - haven't scanned in the latest sketches yet though. I'm having a stall in the Hub on the Green at the next Bournville Artisan market (15 November), and doing a talk for BETA (Birmingham Embroidery and Textile Art) on 9 November (evening), so need to get myself a bit sorted after the summer! Interesting that the things I've done recently all seem to be similar colours

We are delighted that the Birmingham Open Studios app has been updated for 2026.
The app is now the best way to navigate the event.

This app is freely available for Android and Apple devices. It includes the following features:

• An interactive map, powered by Google Maps
• Full database of artists, arranged by name, or media type
• Ability to sort by nearest studios to your location, or by date
• View accessible studios, or those with live demonstrations
• Create your own favourites

Realise I don't remember to post on here - but I have been doing some textile work recently. Working towards the WSD National Exhibition in September - I've made an ecoprinted waistcoat for the juried section (sent off today) and also done a bunting "flag" for the general exhibition.

To banish those January blues (yes we know we're not there yet!), make sure you come along to the Preview Evening for the RBSA Friends Exhibition 2026 on Thursday 8 January.

Running until Saturday 7 February, the show will feature the work of over 100 artists who are all part of the RBSA Friends scheme and at various points of their artistic careers.

As always, there will be a fully illustrated catalogue available to purchase and all of the work on display will be for sale.
