Good afternoon. Hope everyone is well. I’m sorry that I’ve been quiet online. I’m still in the throws of house move stresses and that is impacting on the new orders that I can take on. (I have been working on orders in the background). Once I’m all settled I should be back to full speed. ❤️

Has everyone seen the news recently about silver prices? In the past year silver prices have more than doubled. Demand is also really high. You may have seen a big high street jewellery brand has announced they are replacing some of their silver lines with platinum plated alloy due to the uncertainty of the silver market (amongst other things). Prices for me as a small business have certainly increased. Chains that I used to buy wholesale for between £5.50 and £6 are now between £11 and £12. The silver clay I use has increased to around £3.60 a gram (it was around £2 when I started out). The market is unsettled at the moment with prices changing on almost a weekly basis. The negative is that my prices will have to change to reflect the increased prices. (As many who know have bought from me I don’t make much profit at all (if any) but I simply can’t sell things and make a loss on materials). In a positive spin, if you’ve bought silver jewellery from me the value has certainly increased ❤️

I just wanted to offer reassurance that I am still here and still working with silver. I’m hoping that new designs will be arriving in the near future. Xx

Good evening - can you believe it’s only a week to Christmas Eve?!

You will all have noticed I have been quiet leading up to christmas this year. I am currently selling my house, so the last couple of months have been a whirlwind of house viewings, estate agents and solicitors.

I have now also been lucky enough to catch the pre-Christmas lurgy 🤕😷

This has limited the new stock I’ve been able to make in time for the big man to visit.

I do have a few pendants with limited chains ready to go. Amber, Rose Quartz and Chrysocolla (pictured).

I also have some of the cubic zirconia earrings available. I love these earrings as they really sparkle and are much more hard wearing than the resin. If you are interested get in touch and I can tell you what colours I have available.

Today’s upload is a very special one.

I wanted to show two pieces that I’ve worked on through the summer.

Sadly my cousin lost her husband in December following a very brave battle with Motor Neurone Disease.

We worked together to come up with these designs that contain some of Scott’s ashes. The cornflower (the flower of MND) and Scotts initials were also incorporated into one of the pieces.

It has been a real honour to work on these so that my cousin and their daughter can carry Scott with them whenever they wear them.

I really hope that these pieces bring a small amount of comfort 💙🧡

Lots of photos of this one as it has so many dimensions of colour. Labradorite has an iridescent sheen and what looks like little flecks of glitter. Depending on the light, you can see shades of blue, green, grey and silver.

Rose quartz is often known as the ‘Love Stone’.

It is thought to promote self worth and compassion whilst reducing feelings of stress and anxiety. Not to mention the delicate pink colour is just lovely to look at.

A Chrysocolla oval cabochon is the centrepiece of this pendant.

Chrysocolla is believed to have calming and soothing energies and helps to reduce the feeling of being overwhelmed. Something I know I definitely need at times 💞

With things starting to feel autumnal I thought I’d try something a little different.

The stone is amber and has a beautiful golden honey tone. It is bezel set and finished with an ornate bail.
