(I really must do better at taking photos of the making process, the workshop is only upstairs! 🙈)

This huge brooch was brought to us to make into something more wearable. Our customer wanted a dress ring that could be worn a lot, so it had to be suitable for everyday knocks.

We chatted through the options and I drew up the designs. What was chosen was this one of a kind, asymmetric ring - a beautifully modern piece that you wouldn’t recognise from the original brooch!

We’re 8 today! 🙌🎈🥰
This was us on 21st April 2018 - the opening day at our beautiful shop, in West Malling (don’t we both look young 🙈)

During the last 8 years we’ve seen the arrival of one granddaughter, one niece and one nephew. We’ve lived through a pandemic, lost Paul’s dad, got married, and will soon be moving house! To say the last few years has been eventful is a bit of an understatement! But, through it all we have continued to help hundreds of our wonderful customers bring their jewellery ideas to life. Each and every commission has been an honour and one we never take for granted.

Thank you to all of you who have supported us over the last 8 years; from every commission, remodel or repair to every like, comment or share, we couldn’t have done it without you! Here’s to the future, we’re excited to see where it take us next 😘 x

What do you do with old, family jewellery? It’s super sentimental but it’s not your style. You’d never sell it but you won’t wear it as it is. Do you leave it in its box?

You could do, but you could take the diamonds out, melt the gold down and turn it into something that’s perfectly you! Now all those stories and memories and with you everyday 🥹

When we make an engagement ring, I have to put a lot of faith in the customer in front of me. I have to trust that they know what their partner would like (or at least dislike)! I can advise and give opinions but ultimately, I’m designing it blind.

That’s why it makes my heart sing, when I receive messages like this…

“She said “yes” and the ring is perfect!”

“Thank you so much for my beautiful ring!!!! It is absolutely PERFECT 🤩”

But, to be honest, who wouldn’t be happy with a sparkler like this one! Congratulations again you two, I hope you’re still enjoying your engagement bubble 🥳

And just like that 2025 is finished! The Christmas train has delivered his last gift and will soon be heading back to the depot for a well earned rest 🚂

Thank you to all of you who have supported us this year, from engagement rings to special anniversaries, memorial pieces to Christmas gifts, we are truly thankful for every single one of our wonderful customers 🙏

Another big thank you to all of our super talented jewellers for continuing to keep our shelves stocked and looking gorgeous! 🤩

And finally, the biggest thank you to my lovely husband, Paul, for bring all my designs to life, I really couldn’t run this business without you! ❤️

Before & After… this super sentimental watch and chain was brought in for us to melt down and make into a simple bangle that could be worn everyday.

There were a few more steps (obviously) but I don’t always get a chance to recorded them 😂🙈

Now our customer has a beautiful piece of jewellery that reminds him of his family. It’s so much better than having something sitting in a draw for years, wouldn’t you agree?

With gold at an all time high, it’s also a great way of having a piece of gold jewellery without the price tag!
