Welcome to The Bespoke Phoenix.
In 2008, I discovered the world of jewellery making. It was beautiful - sparkly, colourful and dramatic. I loved the different colurs and finishes of the beads and the fact it was so easy to do! I knew that if I wanted to be a jewellery designer, I needed to find a style, so I looked into the backgrounds of the designers that I liked and they all had something in common - they were inspired by their mothers and grandmothers jewellery boxes and it occurred to me - I didn’t have that.
After years of trying different styles and mediums, I discovered that some people didn’t want their old broken jewellery! And they were willing to sell it! Suddenly my style became clear. I would breath new life into old pieces; like the Phoenix, these old, unloved, unwanted components would rise from the ashes as beautiful, unique items.....and so The Bespoke Phoenix was born.....
