This is an 18ct yellow gold and platinum button back deco cluster.
All the rubies have been cut to fit in a channel setting , a long process of back and forth to the lapidary, ensuring a perfect fit.
A true joy to make a classic piece and the special significance of using family gold and diamonds in a design to take the family jewels, supplying the old with the new.

If you look at the centre sapphire you will notice it has crossing sections of light which moves as you move the ring, so the light refracts , this is called a star sapphire, an unusual characteristic and much sort after when choosing a cabochon sapphire or Ruby.

If your looking for a hair cut and don't want to be sat waiting around check out the guy in great george street a few doors up from my shop , next to the polish shop.
Nice guy (Billy English translation) from Turkey who is really trying to get on , his English gets him by. Had a great haircut and was really impressed with how he has been willing to put in the effort for his young family and try and make life work for him.
