Opening in the spring and at Christmas, The Barn is a friendly and relaxed place to shop; treating yourself or filling that all important Christmas present list. The Barn is located 1 mile outside the village of Wheathampstead in the Hertfordshire countryside, 10 minutes drive from Harpenden and St Albans, with plenty of easy parking. Feel free to come along to our next event and share a glass of mulled wine or cup of coffee with us, next time we are open:

Yipee! 🎉 Another 4-day weekend is approaching… well, it is for The Barn!

Hi everyone,

Wow, we’re already three weekends in, and we can hardly believe how quickly time is racing by!

We’ve had a lovely delivery of new clothes, along with some gorgeous slippers (because no Christmas should be without a new pair of slippers! 🧦).

We’ve had such a wonderful autumn, and there’s something so lovely about the days getting a little cooler and everything feeling that bit cosier. 🍂 Lots of the lovely products we have at The Barn are just perfect for this time of year, whether you’re looking for something warm, cosy or a little treat for yourself or someone special.

Hi Everyone,

Firstly, a huge thank you for making the start of our Barn opening such a success! 🥰

We’ve had so many lovely visitors, lots of sales, and best of all, so many wonderful comments about the stock. It really means so much to us, and we’re so grateful for all your support.

The weather has certainly taken a turn now, with that autumn chill and rain definitely in the air. (I even had to put a coat on for my dog walk! 😩😂)

But on a positive note, it’s the perfect excuse to get cosy! 🍂🤎 We have loads of gorgeous new clothes in the Barn that are just made for those colder days. There’s something rather lovely about treating yourself to a new jumper, cardigan or cosy layer and being ready for autumn.

So, if you fancy a browse, a little treat for yourself, or simply a cosy afternoon looking through all the lovely new stock, come and see us this weekend.

We are so nearly there and ready to open this Thursday 1st October at 10am! 🎉

We have LOADS of new stock, and I currently have a very full skip of empty boxes to prove it! 🤣

We’re also delighted to welcome back some of our old favourites:

✨ Jo with her handmade soaps

And we’re very excited to introduce a new exhibitor, Mary, who lives locally and has the most gorgeous cards, along with beautiful hand-thrown and decorated ceramics.

There really is so much to choose from, with stock being updated throughout the season, so make sure you plan a visit between Thursday 1st October and Sunday 20th December.

I have some very exciting news… The Barn is opening again in just one week 🎉🍂🎄

We’ll be opening our doors on Thursday 1st October for the autumn and Christmas season, and we’ll be open right through until Sunday 20th December.
