Detailed with sweet pink and purple glass stones and dainty floral motifs, this lovely brooch is the perfect pairing for the sunny weather we're currently enjoying. It was made by the American Hobé company in the 1940s. Pre 1950s pieces made by this quality costume jeweller are highly collectible, so not only is this brooch a beauty, it's a great investment. I'm back! After quite an epic house move, we are now in our new home and I have access to the internet again. Phew! We are lucky enough to have this beautiful Peony in our garden and I think it perfectly compliments this French 1950s brooch detailed with pink glass beads. This vintage 1950s American glass and rhinestone floral brooch and earrings set has just arrived at Gemma Redmond Vintage. The design of this jewellery set has much in common with the pieces produced by the Miriam Haskell company. However, it is unsigned. The use of gilded metal filigree and metal floral accents, the inclusion of milk glass and mirrored rhinestones and the hand-wiring of details to a metal backing are features of these pieces and Haskell examples too.
