This wonderful and striking original Art Deco Harlequin or multi-coloured necklace is currently available from Gemma Redmond Vintage. It's a great example of glass beaded 1930s jewellery, as the beads are much larger and more highly faceted than those found in many other pieces. They are in excellent condition too. Detailed with sweet pink and purple glass stones and dainty floral motifs, this lovely brooch is the perfect pairing for the sunny weather we're currently enjoying. It was made by the American Hobé company in the 1940s. Pre 1950s pieces made by this quality costume jeweller are highly collectible, so not only is this brooch a beauty, it's a great investment. I'm back! After quite an epic house move, we are now in our new home and I have access to the internet again. Phew! We are lucky enough to have this beautiful Peony in our garden and I think it perfectly compliments this French 1950s brooch detailed with pink glass beads.
