Experimenting today with a different style (and trying not to make a mess with the ink🤣). These have been made with leaves from the garden, printed with ink and hand coloured. The wording is handwritten, with words that represent the traditional meanings behind the plants.

If you're heading out on this beautiful sunny Friday morning, make sure you pop in to Verwood Memorial Hall! There are lots of crafts and other stalls setting up ready for the craft fair. Free entry and dogs are welcome 😊

Loved the rose garden at Mottisfont. The fragrance was beautiful, reminiscent of the roses of old. How lovely to smell a flower with a perfume. There were other plants among the roses, including irises with an almost painterly quality to them.
