Black and green. A GMT with real presence.

The Rolex GMT-Master II “Green Arrow” brings a distinctive edge to one of Rolex’s most recognisable sports watches. This 2008 stainless steel example, Ref. 116710, combines the familiar GMT-Master II functionality with a striking black and green colour scheme.

The black Cerachrom bezel insert, gloss black dial, and green GMT hand are complemented by green dial lettering. Larger Maxi Chromalight hour markers, broader lugs, and thicker crown guards give this generation a more substantial look on the wrist.

Inside, the Calibre 3186 automatic movement features a Parachrom hairspring and dual time zone functionality. Finished on a three link Oyster bracelet with polished centre links, it’s a practical travel watch with plenty of character.

This exceptional Breguet 3949 open faced pocket watch dates to 1826, crafted in 18ct pink gold during the era of Breguet Et Fils.

A vintage Omega dress watch dating to circa 1950s, powered by the much respected manual wind Calibre 267.

The dial has plenty going on, without ever feeling busy. Dauphine hands, elegant dagger indices and Arabic numerals at 12, 3 and 9 o’clock frame the dial, with a small seconds sub dial at 6.

Housed in a Dennison made 9ct yellow gold case and paired with an alligator leather strap, it has the proportions and understated character that make vintage dress watches so appealing.

Supplied with a later Omega box.

A superb vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual, dating from 1964 and presented in stainless steel.

The silver sunburst dial has aged beautifully, retaining its original character with baton hands and hour markers, together with the classic “Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified” text.

An engine turned bezel and Rolex Oyster bracelet complete the understated design.

CARTIER TANK LOUIS CARTIER, TIMELESS BY DESIGN

Another new arrival at Carter Marsh & Co Wi******er.

Few designs have remained as consistent as the Cartier Tank, and this 1995 Tank Louis Cartier is a great example of why.

Crafted in 18ct yellow gold, it features Cartier’s classic white dial, Roman numerals, blued steel sword shaped hands, and railtrack minute scale.

The details are unmistakably Cartier, from the cabochon sapphire crown to the black crocodile leather strap and gilt Cartier deployant clasp.

Powered by a quartz movement and accompanied by papers and a later Cartier box, this is a clean, classic example of one of Cartier’s most enduring designs.
