A little appreciation post for antique pins 💖

Pins might just be one of the most underrated forms of antique jewellery. Wear them, collect them, convert them…personally my brain immediately starts dreaming up all the possibilities 🤗

My favourite? Edwardian, covered in gemstones, with a unique motif or perhaps just a gorgeous silhouette - bonus points for anything celestial 💫

🩷 Raspberry pinks, rose gold and a sweet little motif

I’ve had this piece in my collection for a little while and every time I come across it in my jewellery box I can’t help but stop for a moment and admire all the sweet little details.

She’s crafted in 9ct rose gold, studded with a quatrefoil of pink tourmaline stones and has flowing, sweeping gold curls throughout the design. Not forgetting the trio of ivy-like leaves suspended above the stones, a lovely bit of turn of the century symbolism 💖
