Still September, so still my favourite gemstone Sapphire’s birthstone month.
The beauty of sapphires, for me is that they occur naturally in almost every colour of the rainbow, except red which is Ruby. They are also the 2nd hardest gemstone after diamonds so great for everyday wear. which is classified as a ruby. This bespoke radiant cut sapphire ring we created this month had a lovely sea green hue in an elegant, modern design and the colour enhanced by setting in the warmth of 18ct yellow gold

This was a really lovely bespoke commission ,to create a pendant for a medic using platinum and Amethyst
diamond and purple sapphire. Some designs ideas can take time or can be the first thought you had. This was the first idea I sketched and was the one selected ,it had a lovely playful nature to it

Werkshop Wednesday this week is actually showcasing how it starts We selected these sapphires on a previous trip with an idea in our heads Once back we create it is into a quick design sketch before we proceed in making up these gorgeous rose cut sapphires into pendant and earring sets So Looking forward to having these in the window in October

Werkshop Wednesday this week and all week tbh as hundreds of diamonds being set in a multi band ring we are making .Huge concentration and precision required with the outer edges of the ring having a minute 0.7mm diameter diamonds grain set 🙄 look forward to sharing once finished
