NEW MOON IN GEMINI

We are all magic, creators, and have the ability to manifest in our lives. Each New Moon offers the opportunity to plant a new seed and invest in that seed throughout the lunar cycle. Gemini rules our minds, how we communicate with ourselves and the world, and ideas, about duality co-existing within us.

Do we use communication to take or to give? So often, while we think we are asking for news, we actually want to share our own. Are we really listening, or waiting for the invitation to say, « Me too, » and talk about ourselves?

Maybe tonight we could ask ourselves how to communicate honestly and make an intention that will help us grow in this matter.

ULL MOON IN SAGITTARIUS

The Full Moon in Sagittarius invites us to look around with gratitude, acknowledge the blessings in our lives, sometimes the most beautiful miracles are almost invisible, a loved one who checks that we’ve arrived safe at home, the song of a blackbird at dawn or dusk, feeling moved by a simple joy with no particular reason, thinking of someone and receiving a phone call from them, contentment is in the little things and in recognising them.

This full moon is about closing a chapter of our life where we maybe made ourselves too small, lacked boundaries, or simply something or a relationship reached its end, and opening a new chapter filled with joy because we can recognise ourselves becoming more sovereign, and aware that some rough times were there to help us grow and transform, to receive what we wished for, but are finally now ready for.

This full moon completes a growth. The beginning of a new chapter is built with our curiosity for the unknown, for a version of ourselves that we do not fully know yet, thinking differently, reinventing new ways to do, to feel or communicate, and we’re finally healing from and understanding the lesson of the cycle behind us, to grow into the new ahead with a better trust in ourselves and our newest directions.

Do you know these mornings?

The second you wake up, an overwhelming feeling, the weight of responsibilities, trapped in a loop. A darkness lands on your soul before you even get out of bed.

You fight it back with optimism but it gets even worse.

This morning, I embraced the darkness and took it with me outside while walking my dog. And… a glimpse of sun on a tree, a joyful neighbour’s smile, my dog’s malice and resilience, despite going through a heavy epilepsy treatment…

Little things to feel grateful for and the shadow of the soul gets enlightened softening into simple joy, presence and embodiment.

It has been such a chaotic and challenging winter.

I broke my wrist in October leaving me with one left hand, it made me reorganise my whole daily life: cooking, working (postponed my new collection, impossible to carve wax with one hand), getting dressed, taking a shower… simple daily things became a challenge.

And I had to learn how to slow down, I hate when things don’t follow a fast pace, so imagine… I had to accept the time that every single action suddenly needed.

But the most of all was to accept it, the broken wrist, yes I will be honest I completely rejected the idea. This could not “happen to me”, I’ve never broken anything before in my life, why now, why me? My resistance was so strong that my brain was replaying the accident scene again and again, trying desperately to fix it. The mind doesn’t make any difference between past present and future, it is programmed to find solutions.

And it was spinning like hell to rewire the story right, but in vain, quite the opposite actually, after two weeks in a cast they had to reduce my bone a second time.

While a part of me was still on the WHY TO ME, another part started to go with the flow, to embrace what it was here to teach me, acceptance, and what it was mirroring for me, obviously my need of control (most of my resistance comes from there) my neediness of things going the way I want to.

It showed me where I truly was and not where I thought I was, a gap, a world literally.

FULL MOON IN SCORPIO

A Full Moon in Scorpio highlights what is beneath the surface, revealing what has been hidden.

FULL MOON IN LIBRA

A time to release.
To surrender to whatever is strangling you and trust your sovereignty.

Full moon nights are a very good time to rest, to slow down and nurture yourself.

What is it that feels out of balance in your life, or within you?

Meditate on it. Take a few deep breaths.
Listen to your heart beating and know that you are safe, you are loved.

You can let go of all that is restraining you.

You can surrender to your fears and anxiety.

Don’t try to fight. Just surrender.

Let them be. Notice them.
Don’t try to ignore them, but acknowledge them with love.
Send them compassion…
it is the best way to regain your sovereignty.

May this full moon help you restore balance and peace.
