NEW MOON IN LIBRA

Under this New Moon, we might ask ourselves: where can we bring together different points of view within our own vision? We don’t need to decide which voice is the right one. They may all exist, coexist and co-create together. That’s how we can find balance within ourselves: by listening to them all and making room for each to express itself, offering compassion to the most scared, sad or angry ones, finding harmony with every part of ourselves and seeking wholeness.

FULL MOON IN ARIES

What a powerful teacher, humble and generous, and such an inspiring workshop. We all randomly received exactly the questions we were meant to reflect on, and a beautiful poem. Mine was by Rainer Maria Rilke.

Ellie shared with us such a profound and somehow magical sentence, one of the most beautiful I’ve heard in a long time, and I wanted to share it with you. Maybe it will resonate with you too.

Happy Fall Equinox

At 2:05 am (CEST) this morning, we reached that moment of perfect balance between light and dark we call the Equinox, which literally means “equal” (aequus) and “night” (nox).

Autumn is the harvest season, and also a time to release and return to ourselves.

t’s a perfect time for reflection. While in spring we are into this waking up mood and in summer enjoying simply being, living in the heat of the moment, open, sociable, spending more time outside, now the cycle begins to turn inward again.

The trees turn from fiery colours to brown, before letting their leaves fall. It’s a call to slow down, listen to our bodies and self-reflect.

What are we ready to shed? What have we created? What is coming to fruition?

How has your summer been?

Mine has been one of the toughest ever, but it has also taught me that sometimes we cannot control the outcome and it is beyond our power, but we can love, care, be present, and that is everything. It has also taught me to allow myself to receive, without immediately feeling the need to earn it or give something back, and to understand that receiving with an open heart is also part of the exchange.

I wish you the sweetest Autumn Equinox. May you shine in your authenticity!

Grief is a strange thing.. it comes and goes like waves, from sweet memories to pain.

Yesterday I went to the sea for the first time without my little four-legged companion.

I could see her running beside me, as if somehow her spirit was there with me. It felt beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.

How do we learn to exist with absence? I would say acceptance and time.

How do you exist with yours?

A week in Pelion, the mountain of Chiron the centaur, the wounded healer.

Sometimes it feels like the universe is doing its magic, and before you even realise it, you find yourself fully aligned with where your body heart and soul were calling for.

Things fall into place as if it had always been the plan, except that the plan was unfolding behind the scenes before you were even aware of it.

So here I am, surrounded by the deepest silence I’ve heard in years. The grief feels softer, my sweet dog within my heart. I’m watching the world around me with her curiosity, embracing the moment, the peaceful joy of discovery..

Love can hide in unexpected things, places, landscapes.. and my healing is learning to exist with the whole of her absence, while carrying the whole of her love within me.

Thank you Cha Ni for opening the doors of this house of peace to me, and for giving me a place where I could simply be, breathe and reconnect with myself.

NEW MOON IN VIRGO

MERCURY is moving into LIBRA, VENUS is moving into SCORPIO and URANUS is going retrograde in GEMINI, reminding us to be mindful of where we’re investing our energy.

Virgo is the healer, the organised, the structured and the reliable, which is fully aligned with “back to school” energies. A New Moon invites us to open a new cycle, offering us tonight a fresh start after eclipse season, which may have closed some chapters of our lives irrevocably.

For me, even as an adult, September has always felt like the beginning of the year, a year that will end with the summer holidays. There is this idea of engaging our energy, planting the seeds of what we would like to see blooming and growing in the year to come, but also taking the time to harvest what was planted last year.

Our chance to turn inward, into our body, without letting our mind overwhelm us, and to set our beautiful intentions filled with trust and dedication. It’s a good time to introduce a new routine, especially around our body, and to embrace our own power to heal through it. We shouldn’t look for perfection, but rather establish healthier and more supportive daily practices to remain centred and grounded.

May this New Moon inspire us to connect with our inner magic and set intentions aligned with our mind, body and soul.

Join us on September 25 & 26 to celebrate Despina Vergidi Studio ’s 5th birthday with the ‘ΗΛΙΟΔΩΡΟΝ’ event! For this collaborative project, twelve
artists, creatives and wellness practitioners have been invited to create a one-of-a-kind or limited-edition design/artwork or a workshop inspired by the
studio’s symbols -the SUN and the EGG- and their symbolisms. The theme is open to interpretation, giving participants the space to approach it in their own unique way, through the prism that joy is worth pursuing -a concept extensively explored in artist and educator Ellie Tsatsou-Palmer ’s innovative educational project Integrated Creativity
