Replica of a Byzantine bronze coin – follis, Justinian I (527–565)
The inspiration comes from the Byzantine bronze coin, known as a follis, which circulated during the reign of Emperor Justinian I (527–565).
On the front side of the ring, the imperial portrait is creatively replaced by the name Menelaos.

From a modern perspective, the semi-precious lapis lazuli stone was carved into a square shape, following the principles of Byzantine aesthetics.

The 18K gold men’s ring was designed according to the stone’s dimensions, drawing from the geometric lines of the Doric column. The minimalistic design highlights the stone as the central element.

Η έμπνευση προέρχεται από το βυζαντινό χάλκινο νόμισμα, γνωστό ως φόλλι, που κυκλοφόρησε την εποχή του αυτοκράτορα Ιουστινιανού Α΄ (527–565).
Στην εμπρόσθια όψη του δαχτυλιδιού, το αυτοκρατορικό πορτρέτο αντικαθίσταται δημιουργικά με το όνομα «Μενέλαος».

Με σύγχρονη ματιά, η ημιπολύτιμη πέτρα lapis lazuli λαξεύτηκε σε τετράγωνο σχήμα , ακολουθώντας τη βυζαντινή αισθητική.

Το χρυσό ανδρικό δαχτυλίδι Κ18 σχεδιάστηκε σύμφωνα με τις διαστάσεις της πέτρας, ακολουθώντας τις γεωμετρικές γραμμές του δωρικού κίονα. Η λιτή γραμμή του σχεδίου αναδεικνύει την πέτρα ως πρωταγωνιστικό στοιχείο.
