The end of another last day at the shop before closing for August. 🤍

While changing the window display for the rest of the summer, I felt this huge wave of emotions.🙈

Maybe it was the exhaustion of an entire year finally catching up with me.
But mainly, it was the realisation, once again, of just how much of my life this little place holds.

This shop has become such a big part of me.
I carry it in my heart in a way that is sometimes difficult to explain.

And every year, when I close the doors for August, it feels a little bit like my own New Year’s.🐬

A pause.
A moment to breathe, step away from everything, let the year settle, and come back with a little more energy and a fresh perspective.🤘🏽

And, as always, I find myself feeling incredibly happy and grateful that I get to keep this place alive.

So grateful for every person who has supported me, visited, bought something, followed along, recommended me, or simply cared about this little world I’ve created.

It means more than I can say.🖤🌝

Now it’s time to rest, recharge, disappear for a little while, and let August do its thing. 🌸

Handcrafted from start to finish, spontaneously engraved freehand.

To me, Ραστώνη is more than a word, it’s the sound of cicadas, salt on sun-kissed skin, the cool touch of the sea after the summer heat, a lazy afternoon siesta, the craving for something cold and refreshing, and the quiet anticipation of each sunset, when the day reaches its most beautiful moment. ☀️
