If you’ve ever wondered a little about the person behind Amarélia, here I am. 🤍

My story has taken me from Brazil to Greece, to England and back again, through a long corporate career, many travels, different chapters of life and, most importantly, some wonderful people along the way.

And through it all, the creative side of me was always there. Drawing, making things, evening jewelry classes, gemology, and many hours at my bench experimenting and learning.

I guess I’ve always been a bit of a mix. The color and energy of Brazil and the slower soul of the Aegean. The extrovert and the introvert. The businesswoman and the maker.

They are all part of who I am, and somehow, they all find their way into what I create.

So if you’ve been here for a while, thank you. And if you’re new here, welcome. I’m really happy you’re here. 🤍

Some journeys begin much earlier than we think.

Looking back, I think this little book “Gemas do Mundo” changed the course of my life more than I ever realized.

It introduced me to the world of gemstones when I was 8, and sparked a lifelong fascination with gemstones - their colors, their stories, and the remarkable way nature creates them.

Today, those wonders find their way into the jewelry I create.
