About Pericles S. Kondylatos:
Pericles S. Kondylatos is a jewellery designer who lives and works in Greece with origins from Caesarea of Central Anatolia (Asia Minor). He studied design at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design University in U.K, and continued with a postgraduate course at Camberwell College of Arts, London. By returning in Greece he worked as a jewellery designer for a Greek company (Nicolis Group), and then worked in various fashion companies such as Haragionnis Group of companies (Gucci) and Lakis Gavalas – the biggest fashion importing company in Greece for over two decades (LAK). In 2008 joined forces with the biggest Greek fashion designer Vassilis Zoulias & worked for the company as a creative consultant, stylist and as a jewellery & shoe ornament designer. Nowadays he is still at V.Zoulias Company, organizing the fashion shows, designing the campaigns, designing accessories, and at the same time he is doing freelance styling projects, having as his latest work the styling of the on-line game of Perrier soft drink. His styling work includes collaborations with the biggest photographers in Greece, and his work has been published in all the fashion portals of Greece. He has worked in all sectors of the field we call fashion industry, from merchandising, designing, promoting, up to doing fashion shows and has acquired an overall knowledge and experience of how this business operates. Also he continues his fashion creativity with his own brand: Pericles Kondylatos Jewellery and has expanded in various sale points in Greece like Athens & Mykonos & abroad at Mexico. His latest achievement is his partnership with fashion icon Patricia Field where he shells his Avant guard work in her New York boutique. The highlight of his career took place on September 2014 in Athens – Greece where the international superstar Lady Gaga made a unique fashion statement, appearing outside hotel Grande Bretagne wearing a crown made by Pericles Kondylatos. The famous music industry icon chose this piece of jewellery made by Swarovski crystals, pearls & sculls to complete her look as an alternative ancient Greek caryatid.
