Collector of antique mechanical gold/silver fobs that turn into pencils🤓 Always delighted by the telescoping mechanism & craftsmanship as there are so many moving parts that still work to this day. A lot of these still have lead in them (twisting clockwise to propel the lead and counter clockwise to retract) & I feel very connected to history/humanity when I play with them. Always strawberry season around here🍓🍓🍓 Lots of special pieces in this photo incl my custom 14K ruby & emerald CLFJ strawberry pendant on the left & the antique diamond coral strawberries brooch I sourced at a market in Vienna. The highlight is the antique Burmese ruby & diamond strawberries pendant converted from a brooch. I get asked if I sell pieces from new followers, and the answer is yes, but this is a side gig so the posts with items for sale are sporadic rn. I got really burned out by the selling side for a while, so I try to post for fun now. That means a lot of personal collection stuff. But to prove that I do get my act together sometimes, this 18K natural diamond tennis necklace found a home recently❤️✨ Very happy it went to another boy mom for Mother’s Day 💙

Morning cup of tea. Does anyone else put on their jewellery before changing out of pjs? Pajamas & jewellery are my idea of heaven tbh✨ I bought the ring I’m wearing on my pinky in Dec 2011 (the month I was getting married to M). It’s a vintage 18K & platinum flexible link band—super heavy, 4cts of baguette diamonds, with amazing links that look like gold bricks going all the way around—and I decided it would be a cool ring I’d wear in place of my wedding band when I felt like changing things up. Well that was in my late 20’s before having 2 kids, the 2nd one weighing over 9lbs at birth, and before my ring finger size forever changed😂 I now wear it as a pinky ring (loose but I stack a CLFJ 14K pinky ring band to hold it in place), which is pretty badass imho. Years go by and things change, but it’s kind of reassuring to know that whatever you planned for can still turn out to be pretty cool xx

A few very sentimental pieces today. I’ll put the long story up in my stories, but the short story is that I reached out to as a complete stranger about something personal & found kindness in a kindred spirit🫶 I love the jewellery community bc we understand how much emotion gets attached to some important pieces—and by important, I don’t mean the most expensive. It is the personal stories behind jewellery that make them valuable. And now this Le Petit Prince pendant has goodness attached to its story. Thank you❤️❤️❤️
