A. Lange & Söhne Little Lange 1 „Boutique Edition“ ref. 181.039 in 18k white gold 🍷

The Little Lange 1 has been around since 1998, born as a smaller take on the classic Lange 1. Same Caliber L901.0, just scaled down to 36.8mm x 9.5mm for smaller wrists, with a recessed corrector instead of a button for the big date. This one belongs to the second generation, launched in 2017, now released as boutique editions of just 100 pieces with dials that lean far more decorative than the originals.

And what a dial: that Bordeaux red, hand-guilloché finish practically made this piece the face of the new generation. Flip it over and the hand-wound Caliber L121.1 fills the entire case back, three-quarter plate in German silver and all, good for three days of power reserve.

The one question I’ve heard more than any other in the collector community since DUG launched: “Will there be a smaller version?”

Here it is. The Purist 37. Same design language, same Glashütte-finished movement, same 100m water resistance. Just 37mm diameter, 10.35mm thickness, and 43.9mm lug-to-lug.

In softer light, the Bergamo reveals a refined beige-golden tone with polished indices and elegant dauphine hands.

In direct sunlight, the dial transforms into a vivid golden sunburst full of depth and energy.

Another nice detail is the lively shaped date window at 6 o’clock adding symmetry to the dial

What an unforgettable evening! Bringing the Glashütte community together, sharing ideas during the panel talk, finally meeting in person and spending time checking each other’s watches – this is what it’s all about. We hope you enjoyed it!

This is just the beginning and we’re already looking forward to the next one. Together, as a strong and enthusiastic global community, we can achieve a lot in the world of Glashütte watchmaking.
